SIMPLE SWAP, A great way to add a twist to your favorite French toast recipe is to simply use different breads. Try day-old banana, Apple, zucchini or pumpkin bread. Don't forget to slice up cinnamon-raisin bread or even loaves dotted with chocolate chips. You can even slice a few croissants and substitute them for the bread. When in a pinch, try leftover hot dog or hamburger buns.

•LEFTOVER CHILI•
Freeze leftover chili in small portions in muffin cups. Later, you can serve chili dogs by heating the oven and serving the portions over cooked hot dogs. Leftover chili can also be used as a tasty filling for meat pies.
There are so many options for putting leftover chili to good use. One is to reheat the chili, then stir in plain yogurt and American cheese to make a hearty dip for tortilla chips. Or use the chili to jazz up plain baked potatoes.
