I grew up with these cookies- the neighbor lady Loretta would always make these:) 3 cups flour 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup sugar 1 cup shortening 1/4 tsp baking soda 2 tsps baking powder 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs Mix all ingredients together, form into balls and press down with a fork on a baking sheet.
