ingredients:


  • 3 tsp butter, softened
  • 2 slices bread
  • 3 tsp mascarpone cheese
  • 3 tsp apple pie filling
  • 1 tsp caramel sauce

directions:


  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the non-buttered side, add toppings and cover with other slice of buttered bread. The buttered side should be facing outwards.
  3. Heat a skillet to medium-high heat. Grill each side for 2 to 3 minutes or until desired doneness is reached. Cut in half and enjoy hot!

I used Dempster’s Honey Wheat Bread.

••••BRATWURST GRILLED CHEESE!!
  
  • oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1-2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
  • 1 bratwurst
  • 1 pretzel roll, sliced lengthwise
  • beer mustard, to taste
  • 1/2-3/4 cup shredded gruyรจre
  • 1 small boiled yukon gold potato, sliced
  • freshly ground pepper, to taste
    In a heavy bottomed skillet, heat up a small amount of oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until soft and caramelized, stirring every so often, about 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.

In the same skillet, cook the bratwurst. Add 1/4 – 1/2 inch of water, cover and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. When the water has evaporated, the brat should be cooked through. This is unnecessary, but if you like a bit of color on your brat, grill over medium-high, flipping, until slightly browned. Remove from the pan and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into pieces that will fit inside your bread.

Arrange your sandwich. Butter the outsides of the pretzel bread and lay them on a cutting board. The butter should be facing out. Add beer mustard to taste and then layer in the following order: cheese, potato slices, cheese, bratwurst slices, cheese, caramelized onions, freshly ground pepper, pretzel bread (butter facing out).

Heat up a non-stick or cast iron pan over medium heat and carefully move the sandwich to the pan. Fry until the cheese melts and the pretzel bread is golden brown and crispy, flipping once. Enjoy immediately.

– 1 tbsp ranch dressing
– 1 semi-thin fried boneless chicken breast
– 1/2  tbsp pickled cherries, chopped
– 1 pat salted butter

TATER TOT WAFFLE GRILLED CHEESE RECIPE  

Total Time:  30 minutes 
Yield:  4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (2lb) bag frozen tater tots 
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • 4-6 slices bacon 
  • 1 large jalapeรฑo, de-seeded and coarsely chopped 
  • 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese 
  • 6 1/2-inch round waffle iron 

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat waffle iron to the highest setting.
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave tater tots for 4 minutes. Spread half the tots in an even layer on the waffle iron, but really crowd them in there. Sprinkle with half the salt. Close the iron and cook until crisp, following the manufacturer's instructions for timing, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer waffle to a wire rack and make the other waffle with the remaining tots and salt.
  • While the second waffle cooks, place bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate. Add jalapeรฑo to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes in the rendered bacon fat. Transfer jalapeรฑo to the bacon plate.
  • Don’t remove the second waffle from the iron when it's done. Evenly arrange half the cheese on the waffle and top with bacon and jalapeรฑo. Layer remaining cheese over that and place the first waffle on top. Gently press the waffle iron lid down but not all the way closed. Wait until the cheese melts, about 2 minutes, then flip the whole waffle sandwich over onto a plate.
  • Cut into four and share. Or eat the whole thing yourself.
